Pat Finegan is the managing director of Finegan & Company LLC and a former partner of Stern Stewart & Co. While at Stern Stewart, Mr. Finegan managed the firm's private company and middle market practice, and coordinated much of the firm's research on shareholder value and EVA ^® --including its annual corporate ranking. Mr. Finegan helped design and implement many of the earliest incentive compensation plans based on EVA, and remains dedicated to that field.

Mr. Finegan has devoted much of his time recently to helping companies identify, measure and exploit sources of operating uncertainty. He has also provided expert testimony in cases involving the reorganization and regulation of insurance companies. He has contributed articles to The Journal of Applied Corporate Finance, Institutional Investor, Small Business Controller, Corporate Cashflow, Pensions and Investments and Corporate Finance Review, and is a member of the New York State Bar.

Mr. Finegan earned a BA from Northwestern University and an MBA and JD from the University of Chicago.
