While still at Stern Stewart, Pat Finegan developed the very first EVA ® plans in 1984 and 1985 for Kuhlman Corporation, Gleason Corporation and Mary Kay Cosmetics. He also installed the first EVA ® plan at Georgia-Pacific, plus was responsible for many of EVA ®s early success stories. By 1992, the principals of F&C had personally managed implementation of at least one-third of all EVA ® plans adopted within the United States, and were instrumental in creating today's high demand for value-based incentive compensation services. Since that time, F&C has vastly extended research in performance measurement, and installed performance-based incentive plans at numerous companies. EVA is a registered trademark of Stern Stewart & Co. Before forming Finegan & Company, the principals of F&C were partners and officers of Stern Stewart & Co. actively engaged in project management and new product research.
